Meyer Pharmacy is looking to expand our home medical respiratory team!

As a Respiratory Therapist at Meyer Pharmacy, you’ll be working directly with our patients and getting to know them personally. We’re a small, family-owned business so our focus is on relationship-building and providing a high level of personalized care.

We do require a current Iowa RCP license and a Certified Respiratory Therapist for this position.

Details:

• Competitive hourly wage; negotiable based on experience
• Daytime hours! Our home medical is open 8-5, ONLY first shift
• Part time position, preferably someone with Saturday availability (generally rotating every 3-4 weeks)
• Position would average 2-3 days a week, generally 8 hour days (16-24 hours a week)
• Hourly wage $25.00-$30.00 based on experience
• Located in Waverly, Iowa

Essential job duties include:

• Provide education and instruction on safe use of home medical equipment including CPAP/BIPAP, nebulizers, and oxygen. Ensures that patients can use equipment and supplies safely and effectively. Primary patient communication is in a retail setting and by phone.
• Responsible for set-up documentation, patient follow-up, and routine monitoring – per insurance coverage.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical records.
